Each PRO Pack includes exclusive video tutorials, comprehensive downloadable resources, and helpful supplemental links. Watch the videos, download the resources, and review the content when it fits your schedule. After finishing a Pack, download an official certificate of completion for your records. Talk to your administrator about how PRO can support your professional development plan.
PRO Pack facilitators are expert, licensed art teachers from around the country. Each facilitator brings years of experience, real-world examples, tested methods, and effective strategies from their own classroom experience!

How Long Are PRO Packs?
The time you spend on each Pack will vary depending on both the number of videos and resources in the Pack. You can check each Pack’s PD setting to determine the time commitment.
How Are PD Hours Determined?
PRO Packs are worth between 1-4 PD hours. Hours are calculated based on a combination of four factors: the time it takes to watch the video footage, review the resources, dig into the supplemental linked content, and incorporate the new learning into your teaching practice. You can check each Pack’s PD hours to determine the time commitment.
Can I Share My PRO Learning Membership?
No. All FLEX Curriculum subscriptions, PRO Learning subscriptions, and NOW Conference registrations are for individual teacher use. If a colleague wants to access FLEX, PRO, or NOW, they must have their own account linked to a subscription or registration. If a district purchases FLEX, PRO, or NOW for their art teachers, each teacher will have their own account and login to access the content.
Can I share PRO Pack Links with others?
You can share PRO Learning Pack links with others who also have a PRO Learning subscription. To share a pack, follow these steps:
1. Open the PRO Learning Pack you want to share.
2. Copy the URL at the top of your browser. This URL will look something like this: https://pd.theartofeducation.edu/d2l/home/9642
3. Change the "pd" at the beginning of the URL to "app." Your new URL should look like this:
https://app.theartofeducation.edu/d2l/home/9642
4. Send to your teacher bestie or colleague so they can learn with you!
How Do I Earn A Certificate of Completion?
PRO helps you track your learning by automatically awarding an official certificate of completion that you can turn in to your administrator. You can unlock a certificate of completion by completing a short quiz. Certificates of completion are available to download immediately. Should you need to access or print your certificate of completion in the future, you can do so from the PRO section of your account page.
How Do I Know If My State or District Accepts PRO Learning for CEUs or Continuing Education?
PRO Pack PD hour acceptance and teacher license renewal requirements vary by state and district. If your school or state accepts contact hours (documented on the certificate of completion with your name) as a method of professional development, PRO should work for you. However, we always advise that you check with your district or state to be sure. You can also use our state map to see how AOEU aligns with professional development standards.
Can I Earn Graduate Credit By Subscribing to PRO Learning?
No. If you need graduate credits, explore AOEU online graduate courses.
Are PRO Learning Packs Aligned to the NCAS?
Because PRO is a teacher-facing professional development platform, the National Core Arts Standards are linked sparingly and only at the anchor standard level. You will find connected NCAS in the “About” section of each Pack.
