Sometimes, Brightspace will show error messages. If you’re getting an error message, follow the steps below to restore access.
There are common error messages in Brightspace, such as “not authorized.” These error messages are due to inactivity. Brightspace logs users out after six hours. To correct this error and regain course access, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure you’re logged into your AOEU account.
2. Click your name in the corner and go to the “Records” page.
3. Click the blue button that says “Access My Course.”
Now, your access to Brightspace should be restored.
