Application Instructions
The Certificate in 2D or 3D Studio Art at AOEU is designed for educators and artists ready to deepen their skills and explore new creative possibilities. Your application is a chance to share your background, artistic vision, and commitment to professional growth.
You’ll submit the following:
- Application form
- Written or video statement (Your “Why”)
- Application fee ($20)
- Official transcripts

Your “Why” Statement
Share your motivation for pursuing a studio art certificate. You may submit either:
- Written submission: 1 page
- Video submission: Up to 3 minutes
Address:
- Explain why you’re pursuing a studio art certificate.
- Expand upon what fuels your creativity, what you aim to explore, or how this program will support your growth as an artist or educator.
Bring your authentic voice, professional goals, and vision to the forefront.
Official Transcripts
Transcripts that document a conferred bachelor’s degree or higher must be sent directly from your institution.
