Contacting an Instructor or Classmate

How can I send an email through Brightspace?

1. Open your course in Brightspace
2. Click Classlist in the top navigation bar.
3. Click the arrow to the right of the person’s name and select Send Email.
   

Note: You only have the ability to send emails through Brightspace. Any emails you receive from faculty or classmates will only be accessible in the personal email address (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) associated with your Brightspace account.
