How Do I Downgrade My Subscription

Learn how to downgrade your FLEX Curriculum and PRO Learning subscription through the Customer Billing Portal

  1. Log in to your AOEU account.
  2. Click on the “Hi, Your Name” in the upper right corner. 
    • If you see “Menu” here instead, click that, then look for your name in the bottom center of your screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your profile to view your Subscriptions & Events. Here, you will see your current subscriptions and purchased NOW Conferences. 
    • If you do not have a current subscription, you will have the option to learn more about what we have to offer! 
  4. Click either “Manage Subscription” or “View billing & Purchase History” to access the Customer Billing Portal.
  5. In the Customer Billing Portal, click “Update plan.”
  6. The Update screen displays your current plan and options that you can make changes to. Here, you can downgrade from a Yearly to a Monthly Subscription by clicking “Monthly.” This will change the pricing you see for each content. To continue with the downgrade, click “Continue.”
  7. A confirmation screen will appear, summarizing your downgrade, what credit card will be charged, and when the next payment will occur. Any recent annual payments made will be credited toward your upcoming monthly payments until that credit has been all used up. Should you prefer a refund instead of a credit, you will need to reach out to If you need to adjust the credit card used to process this payment, you can do so from this screen as well by clicking on the pencil.
  8. Click “Confirm,” and your Customer Billing Portal will update immediately. Click “Return to The Art of Education” to return to your AOEU Profile.
