Training Options

Initial Product Training - 1 Hour

This online training is designed to provide teachers with everything they need to get started using the products, including logging in, how to navigate the website, how to find specific content, and how to utilize various features for implementation. This helps increase teacher engagement and ensures they have everything they need to be successful.

Proactive Ways to Layer FLEX + PRO - Arts Integration - 1 Hour

Unlock the transformative power of arts integration as we discover how to seamlessly blend the arts with other subjects to enhance student learning and creativity.  Reflect on the significance of arts integration and explore its core principles.  Experience new ways to utilize both FLEX and PRO and collaborate with others to create interdisciplinary lesson plans while receiving valuable feedback.  This training session will leave participants with practical strategies and resources to foster a more engaging and effective learning environment through arts integration.

Discover the power of differentiation in the art room with our specialized training for art teachers!  This session will guide participants through strategies to modify instruction to meet diverse student needs, focusing on what students learn, how they learn, how they demonstrate learning, and where they learn.  Experience guided instruction showcasing how FLEX features support differentiation, and gain insights into adapting lessons for English language learners, early childhood learners, advanced students, and more.  Collaborate with colleagues to explore practical ways to implement differentiated instruction using FLEX and PRO.  This training session will enhance teaching practices, increase engagement for every student, and help to create an inclusive, dynamic learning environment!

Authentic artmaking experiences are created by means of various instructional strategies focused on student engagement and differentiation. Proactive Ways to Layer FLEX + PRO - Studio Practices - 1 Hour

Studio practices in the art room include not only developing media and technical skills but also practicing critical thinking skills, designing innovative ideas, and celebrating diverse outcomes. Students benefit from both structured confidence-building opportunities as well as self-directed exploration of a variety of art media and techniques through self-expression. Together, FLEX and PRO are a comprehensive curriculum solution that can elevate every aspect of teaching and learning. This online training session will demonstrate how to utilize these powerful tools to discover accessible ways to bring Studio Practices to the forefront, building on what they are already doing. 

Deep Dive Into FLEX - AOEU - 1 Hour

Teaching art is multifaceted and complex. As we grow through our own teaching journey, develop our personal teaching philosophies, and explore ways to create meaningful connections with our students through the visual arts, it is also essential to continually evaluate our teaching through a critical lens.  This online training session will support teachers in diving deeper into FLEX to explore features such as My Classes, The Teacher’s Guide, Standards-Based Planning, and more.  Guided collaboration time will also be provided for teachers to discover, design, and deliver!

Deep Dive Into PRO - AOEU - 1 Hour

Teachers’ contributions to student learning reach beyond direct instruction in the classroom. As lifelong learners and contributors to the arts and art education, actively engaging in reflective and routine professional practices promotes student engagement and enhances learning experiences. This online training session will guide teachers in crafting their own PD Plan using PRO Learning, as well as incorporating their learning into practice.

Facilitated Collaboration and Lesson Planning - 1 Hour

Teachers are incredibly busy and time is a precious commodity for them. This online training session will provide teachers with the space to come together to reflect, examine, and discuss lessons and activities to continually improve the teaching and the learning process in a guided and collaborative way. This will not only support horizontal and vertical alignment but will also empower teachers to walk away with actionable strategies and ideas to implement.


Training Best Practices

To ensure a smooth training experience, here are some helpful tips!:
✅  A Zoom link will be provided for you. You won’t need to download an app or create an account. Simply click the link provided to you to join.

✅ Each participant should bring their own device

✅ Please have a stable internet connection and quiet space for focus and engagement

✅ If all of your teachers will be in one room, Please have one laptop or desktop set up with a webcam and audio. For the best group experience, connect your computer to a screen to project the training. Test audio to ensure everyone will be able to hear the presentation.

✅ If your teachers will be joining from multiple locations, ensure they all have the Zoom link to join. We recommend they turn their cameras on and keep microphones muted unless asked to unmute.

Our training works in any format—whether your educators are together in one room, joining from separate locations, or a mix of both. Just choose the setup that works best for your district!
